Post-doctoral Research Fellow - Computational Modelling of Adaptive Deep brain Stimulation (DBS)
Applications are invited for a 2 year post-doctoral position with the Neuromuscular Systems Research Lab at University College Dublin. The project represents an exciting opportunity to work on a multidisciplinary research project funded by Science Foundation Ireland.
This project aims to develop a multiscale model of the neuromuscular system to design and test closed-loop control strategies for deep brain stimulation (DBS) for Parkinson's disease.
POST DOC LEVEL 1 Salary: €44,847 - €47,412 per annum
Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
POST DOC LEVEL 2 Salary:€52,715 -€57,332 per annum
Appointment on the above range will be dependent on qualifications and experience

The PD2 post is intended for researchers that have completed PD1. As with the PD1, if you have already completed your PD2 stage in UCD or will soon complete a PD2, or your total Postdoctoral experience, inclusive of the duration of the advertised post, would exceed 6 years, you should not apply and should refer to Research Fellow posts instead.
