Position Summary
Applications are invited for the role of Research Assistant within the School of Nursing and Midwifery.
The 2017-2026 National Cancer Strategy for the first time placed an emphasis on survivorship, highlighting that cancer survivors require high-quality care to support recovery and adjustment to the range of chronic physical, psychological and social issues experienced after cancer. In late 2019, a National Cancer Survivorship Needs Assessment was launched, highlighting the need for research which supports individuals across the cancer journey.
This project seeks to used mixed methods approaches to explore the contextual factors impacting on the implementation of pathways of cancer survivorship supportive care.
Project Title: Supportive care on the cancer survivorship journey
Post Duration: 5 Months, Whole-Time Post
Salary: €32,962 - €42,943 per annum, IUA Scale.
