Position Summary

Applications are invited for the post of two full-time, fixed-term contract position as a Post-Doctoral Researchers with the Insight Research Ireland Centre for Data Analytics, based at the School of Computer Science & I.T., University College Cork, Ireland.

This position is highly interdisciplinary as it supports the advancement of constraint programming, machine learning, and artificial intelligence domains. The Post-Doctoral Researcher will be expected to perform research and development in the area   constraint programming, machine learning, and artificial intelligence within an established group of researchers and PhD students.  

The nature and structure of the Phase 2 Research Ireland Centre programme allows for Post-Doctoral Researchers to work and gain valuable experience in a varied & research-rich environment where you may gain experience, where applicable, working on projects with SME’s, MNC’s, H2020 projects as well as basic platform research within the Insight Centre for Data Analytics programme.

The successful candidate will be based in the Insight Research Ireland Centre for Data Analytics at the University College Cork. The candidate will be supported in their professional development, be able to avail of a range of career-level focussed training opportunities and have the potential to publish research findings in leading journals and international events.

Post Duration: 9 Months

Salary: €45,847 – €52,339 p.a. IUA PD1 Scale
