The School of Engineering seeks to make an appointment of an Assistant Professor in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering Design and Innovation. The specific purpose of filling an Assistant Professor vacancy on a temporary basis pending the return of the postholder from career break.
This new appointment will help deliver our 5-year integrated Engineering with Management MAI degree and our Mechanical and Manufacturing MAI degree. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including (but not limited to) the teaching of Engineering Design and Innovation modules, as well as being expected to support the supervision of Masters and Bachelors projects.
Post Status: Specific Purpose - The specific purpose of filling an Assistant Professor vacancy on a temporary basis pending the return of the postholder from career break.
Salary: Appointment will be made on the Assistant Professor (109BN) commensurate with qualifications / experience and in line with Public Sector Pay Policy [€42,500 to € 101,541per annum] https://www.tcd.ie/hr/assets/pdf/monthly-academic.pdf
