Offer Description
This position is part of a fundamental research project funded by the French National Cancer Institute (INCa), concerning DNA methylation in colorectal cancer. The final product sought is the production of a fundamental research article in the field of human epigenetics applied to cancer.
The person recruited will carry out molecular and cellular biology experiments (human cell culture, virus production, CRISPR screens). He/she will also supervise trainees and/or students involved in the project. He/she will work in coordination with the 2 other INCa project partners. He/she will present her work on a regular basis to the team leader, the team, the unit and collaborators.
The host unit has 6 to 8 teams working on epigenetics and chromatin. The host team comprises 8-10 people (researchers, technicians, students). The working language is English. The laboratory is fully equipped for cell culture (L2 and L3 for virus production), and for molecular biology (benchtop equipment, robotic pipettors, PCR machines, etc.). Each person has his/her own desk and computer.

Eligibility criteria
PhD in molecular and/or cellular biology. Advanced technical skills in molecular and cellular biology. Conceptual knowledge of chromatin and gene expression.
