Offer Description

Develop and implement selective whole-genome amplification (SWGA) protocols for Plasmodium relictum in avian hosts.

We are seeking a passionate and motivated postdoctoral researcher to develop and apply selective whole-genome amplification (SWGA) techniques targeting Plasmodium relictum. The primary objective of this project is to quantify and compare the genomic diversity of P. relictum at different stages of infection in avian hosts. The selected candidate will employ advanced SWGA methods for the selective amplification of parasite DNA from complex biological samples, enabling in-depth genomic analysis. This research will provide crucial insights into the dynamics of genomic variation throughout the infection process, contributing to a better understanding of parasite adaptation and evolution. We are seeking a passionate and motivated postdoctoral researcher to develop and apply selective whole-genome amplification (SWGA) techniques targeting Plasmodium relictum.
