The University of Helsinki Trainee Programme for International Master Students is open to all international students enrolled in a University of Helsinki master’s programme.
We are looking for a trainee for the International Affairs team.
The team supports the University leadership and promotes the University’s strategic objectives for international engagement and partnerships. You will primarily be working with the University’s strategic Nordic, European and global collaboration.
Main tasks of the trainee:
Tasks related to the University's Nordic and US engagement: events management, mapping and analysing information, communication tasks Tasks related to the University’s incoming and outgoing visits: coordination and development Communication and event management tasks (such as planning and updating websites, writing news, arranging events).

The specific focus of your responsibilities can be tailored to match your experience, skills, and interests.
Who we are looking for:
A trainee with a proactive way of working, good organizing, communication, and teamwork skills. We expect you to have fluency in spoken and written English. Other language skills are an asset. Good digital skills are required and an interest in improving them. Experience in communications is an advantage.

The duration of the traineeship is from 1st September to 31st December 2025 (four months) of part-time (55%) work, leaving time for studies as well. The salary of a trainee is €825 per month for a part-time (55%) trainee. You are eligible to apply if you are an international student enrolled in a University of Helsinki master’s programme.
