Offer Description

Work assignments

  • Conducting research for applying artificial intelligence (AI) in one or more of the following research areas: teaching of informatics, software engineering with an emphasis on software verification and validation, and/or business process management. 
  • Preparing and implementing research projects under the supervision of senior staff.
  • Participation in teaching courses on applying AI in teaching informatics, software engineering, and business process management.
  • Supervising Master's and PhD students.
  • Participation in the work of the university’s decision-making bodies is recommended

Education

PhD or an equivalent qualification.

Work experience

  • Internationally recognized professional research in the area of AI applied in teaching informatics, software engineering, and/or business process management, the volume of which is equivalent to that of at least one doctoral thesis.
  • Experience in the supervision of Master’s and PhD students is recommended.

Language skills

Excellent command of English. Estonian is an advantage.

  • Additional information

    Starting date 1.06.2025. 2 year fixed-term contract with possibility to extend until 31.03.2028. A fixed-term contract is linked to the funding of project TEM-TA120.
