Job Description:

The Cynthia Nelson Institute for Gender and Women's Studies (IGWS) at the American University in Cairo (AUC) is seeking to recruit an adjunct faculty pool for the Gender and Women's Studies graduate program. Candidates should be able to demonstrate a record of teaching graduate courses in gender and women's studies or related fields. Areas of specialization needed include visual, literary, and critical approaches to gender, gender and migration, and/or gender and urban studies. Adjunct faculty are eligible to teach a maximum of two courses per semester. 


Requirements:

Applicants should be able to demonstrate experience of teaching and student engagement. Applicants holding a PhD in humanities or social sciences are eligible to apply.
