Offer Description

Position is open, for Professional Associate in the system of science and higher education at the Division of Physical Chemistry,  Group for Computational Life Sciences to work on data processing with methods of analytical and numerical approach and computer simulations - on the HRZZ project "Analysis of stocks of Rac1 protein isoforms in protists Dictyostelium discoideum", for a fixed period of 6 months, 1 open position

In addition to the general criteria for establishing an employment relationship from Article 61 of the Statute of the Ruđer Bošković Institute, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • university graduate study in physics,
  • knowledge of analytical and/or numerical approach in combination with simulations,
  • active knowledge of the English language in speech and writing,

  • advanced computer skills

    Preference will be given to candidates with experience in scientific research and data processing from computer simulations and in advanced image analysis obtained by optical microscopy.

Eligibility criteria

In addition to the general criteria for establishing an employment relationship from Article 61 of the Statute of the Ruđer Bošković Institute, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in scientific research and data processing from computer simulations and in advanced image analysis obtained by optical microscopy.

Selection process

In addition to the application form document, applicant needs to provide: Curriculum Vitae (CV), Diploma, motivation letter in English, e-mail address of at least one referee, and other evidence needed for satisfying position related selection criteria.


Additional comments

The employment includes a six-month trial period.
