Hiring Unit:

Department of Earth and Planetary Science
Position Summary:

  • Conduct research using established protocols
  • Synthesize data on human activity and economic value added for as many countries as possible construct a new database in python using established processes
  • Construct new database using established processes
  • Analyze database, under supervision and using established procedures, to contribute to a new publication

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to find and analyze relevant data
  • Familiarity with spreadsheet software and python
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Earth and Planetary Science or Earth System Science
  • Experience working in a research group (1 semester part time, or more)
