Offer Description

The scholarship holder will develop the research “Innovative models of innovation environments - global perspective” in 24 months at the University of Sâo Paulo's School of Economics, Business Administration, Accounting and Actuarial Sciences (FEA-USP) in Brazil. The position is linked to a project supported by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) through its Research in Public Policy Program.

The scholarship holder will work to improve management, investment and execution of actions that strengthen the innovation ecosystem in the state of São Paulo, made up of more than 70 innovation environments of various types. Its activities will involve the construction of governance models, development of indicators, policy instruments and public management tools, considering regional particularities. The researcher will be responsible for analyzing and integrating global practices in innovation environments, ensuring that the state follows international trends, with a focus on ventures aimed at regional development. The products generated will directly contribute to the modernization and decision-making in the São Paulo System of Innovation Environments (SPAI).

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 12,000.00 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent on items directly related to the research activity.
