The Coordination of the Graduate Program in Economics at the Federal University of Sergipe (OBSCOM-UFS)in Brazil, considering the availability of 01 (one) Post-Doctoral fellowship in a project financed by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP), is welcoming applications for the selection process of 01 (one) candidate for Post-Doctorate, with a stipend funded by FAPESP, as announced by the PROPEC/FAPESP/UFS N° 1/2025 PUBLIC NOTICE – Selection Process of Post-Doctoral Fellowship.

The FAPESP Thematic Project titled “The economic governance of digital networks: towards an analysis of Internet markets and competition and its impacts on users' rights” tackles the regulation of the sector, market structures and global-scale business strategies from the perspective of Political Economy of Communication. The research will focus economic governance of China's digital networks.

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 12,000.00 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent on items directly related to the research activity.
