Offer Description

Post-doctoral fellowship linked to the Research, Innovation and Dissemination Center “Governance of Global Environmental Changes”, a RIDC supported by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) and hosted by the Getulio Vargas Foundation's São Paulo Business Administration School (FGV-EAESP) in São Paulo city, Brazil.

In the research titled “GHG and Corporate Governance” and linked to the Center's Nucleus 2 – Business Practices, the fellow will conduct research on business practices to address global environmental issues, tailored to the context of developing countries, supporting the extensive research infrastructure at FGV. The research will include a comprehensive analysis of companies of various sizes to examine how they have responded to global environmental changes in terms of corporate governance, ethics, and corporate social responsibility (CSR). The fellow will conduct research on the largest data platform for corporate greenhouse gas (GHG) emission inventories in Latin America (Public Emissions Registry – RPE) and analyze how and why emissions are changing over time.

Eligible candidates are PhD holders from any teaching and research institution in Brazil or abroad who have obtained their doctoral degree within the last 7 (seven) years. Please refer to the general FAPESP criteria at https://fapesp.br/en/postdoc

The fellowship amount is R$ 12,000.00 per month; it includes a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent on items directly related to the research activity. The fellowship duration is up to 36 months, with the first year being probationary.
