Offer Description

A post-doctoral fellowship position is available to be part of the FAPESP Thematic Project entitled “Xerostomia in Pre and Post-Menopause and its Interface with Women's Oral Health: From Bench to Bedside Investigation” and hosted by the University of São Paulo's Medical School (FM-USP) in Brazil.

Eligible candidates must hold a PhD in Dentistry, Biomedicine, or related areas. The candidate should have a strong background in Cellular and Molecular Biology, particularly in the development of organoid models. Experience in advanced Molecular Biology techniques is desirable, including but not limited to Real-Time PCR, library construction, Next Generation Sequencing, and microbiome analysis.

Candidates are required to submit a Curriculum Vitae, a cover letter detailing prior experience and technical competencies, and two letters of recommendation addressed to Prof. Dr. Silvia Vanessa Lourenço (salivando@usp.br ).

Eligibility criteria include the completion of a doctoral degree within the past seven years.

This fellowship is open to both Brazilian and international scholars. The selected candidate will receive a Postdoctoral Fellowship from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP), which includes a monthly stipend of R$ 12,000.00 and an additional Technical Reserve equivalent to 10% of the annual scholarship amount.
