About the Role 

We are looking for a strategic and experienced Evaluation and Reporting Manager to join the Education, Experience, and Employability (EEE) Portfolio. Reporting to the Deputy Director, Student Engagement, this role is central to evaluating and reporting on a wide range of university projects and services, including those funded by government and external partners.

The Evaluation and Reporting Manager will work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure program and service objectives are clearly defined and measurable. A key responsibility is to develop and implement robust evaluation and reporting frameworks to support effective assessment of all initiatives, including those funded through HEPPP, SSAF, disability funding, and other government programs.

The role also focuses on building evaluation capability across the University. This includes supporting and mentoring colleagues, particularly service managers, to apply consistent and effective evaluation practices. The insights generated through this work will inform decision-making by program leaders, governance bodies, and both internal and external stakeholders.

About You  
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: 

  • Well?developed analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret and effectively communicate policies, strategies and procedures within complex and sensitive environments
  • Strong technical skills including programming skills, business intelligence software skills, and statistical software skills
  • A thorough understanding of data collection, processing, modelling, analysis and communication as they relate to program effectiveness, operational efficiency, and quality in higher education
  • Proven ability to extract and analyze data from complex and diverse data sets and systems and to utilize business analysis tools to develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, dashboards and performance metrics

Qualifications
Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications; or extensive experience and management expertise; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
