Your next career opportunity
As a Business Analyst in Asset Lifecycle Management, you'll spearhead the University of Melbourne's efforts to optimise research infrastructure strategy. You'll leverage your expertise in data analysis and PowerBI to develop insightful dashboards, manage complex datasets, and provide strategic recommendations. This role offers you the opportunity to contribute directly to the university's research ambitions, collaborating with diverse stakeholders to optimise asset lifecycle management and enhance research platform operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading Data Analytics and Reporting: Develop and maintain complex data models, create PowerBI dashboards, and provide high-quality analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Driving Asset Management Initiatives: Support the Research Infrastructure Strategic Asset Management Framework, including capital investment and service maintenance programs.
- Managing Digital Platforms:Design, develop, and maintain the RI SAMF SharePoint site and MCRIP support platform dashboards.
- Enhancing Collaborative Processes: Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, improve business processes, and support the development of research infrastructure resources.
You may be a great fit if:
You are a data-savvy professional with a strong technical background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to translate complex information into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders in a university research environment.
You may also:
- Hold a tertiary degree in a technical discipline such as Business, IT, Computer Systems, Science or other related fields.
- Have significant experience in analysing complex datasets and developing data models.
- Possess strong expertise in PowerBI or similar tools for dashboard development and reporting.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Have experience working in a university research setting or with research administration.
